What is a surebet?

A surebet is a set of wagers on every possible outcome of an event at odds that guarantee profit no matter what happens. When bookmakers disagree enough on the same fixture, the combined implied probability drops below 100% and you keep the gap as margin. For example, if Away win is priced at 6.50 on Nairabet and Home win at 1.23 on BetKing on the same match, betting both sides returns more than your total stake regardless of who wins.

Surebets are called “sure” because profit is locked in if every leg is placed at the quoted prices. You are not predicting the result. You are catching a pricing mistake between bookmakers, not relying on luck or a hunch for a one-off win.

Why surebets are important

Surebets matter because they remove outcome risk on a correctly executed arb. When you cover every side at the right odds, you know your return before the event finishes. That is different from a normal bet where you can lose everything on a single result.
